IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR VALUED US CUSTOMERS:
Please be aware that recent changes to United States import tariff policies may affect your order. While all of our jewelry is USMCA (CUSMA) certified and handmade in Toronto, Canada, U.S. Customs may apply additional duties, sales tax, or handling fees at the time your package is processed. Unfortunately, these charges are determined by the U.S. government and are beyond our control.
Because tariff policies are subject to change, we recommend checking the latest U.S. government updates regarding Canadian imports to understand if additional fees may apply to your shipment.
If you reject your package due non-payment to any of these additional fees we will not be refunding you as the package (if valued below $800 USD) will not be returned to us and instead be disposed of. By purchasing from us you agree to these terms. Keep in mind that now EVERY package entering the US is now reviewed individually by US Customs agents and there are now delays of 5-7 days due to this.
NEW IMPORT REGULATION:
All orders over $800 USD will be shipped via FedEx. As of recent U.S. regulatory changes, all imports valued over $800 USD now require the submission of an Importer Identity Form (CBP Form 5106) to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (via FedEx). This form was previously only required for imports over $2,500 USD.
Failure to submit Form 5106 promptly may result in shipping delays or your package being returned to us in Canada.
PAYMENT
We accept multiple payment methods: credit cards, PayPal, and e-transfer (for Canadian customers only). All prices are listed in CAD (Canadian Dollars), and the website will automatically convert currencies based on your region.
ORDER PROCESSING
Most made-to-order pieces will be shipped within 7-12 business days. For more intricate designs—such as casted pieces—processing times may be longer. This will be clearly noted on the product page, and a follow-up email will be sent a few days after your purchase to confirm timelines.
SALES TAX
Canadian residents will be charged GST/HST based on their province or territory. Taxes are calculated on the total order amount at checkout.
SHIPPING & HANDLING
We offer FREE SHIPPING on orders over:
• $150 CAD within Canada
• $250 USD to the United States
All orders are shipped via Canada Post, ChitChats, or USPS. If Canada Post delivers to your country, we can ship to you!
For orders to the UK and EU, customers may be required to pay duties and tariffs imposed by their respective governments. COVEN is not responsible for these additional charges.
If you’d like to upgrade your shipping (e.g., for faster delivery, additional tracking, or insurance), email us before checkout—we’re happy to arrange it. Orders will be shipped to the address provided, so please double-check your information.
Estimated Delivery Times:
• Canada: 5-14 business days
• United States: 8-14 business days
• International: 2-4 weeks
Please note: We are not responsible for customs duties, taxes, or delays caused by local shipping regulations.
LOSS OR DAMAGE DURING SHIPPING
All parcels are insured for the value of the items. If your package is lost or damaged, we will assist with the insurance claim process. In cases where a replacement cannot be sent, we will issue a refund for the item’s value (excluding shipping and taxes).
RETURNS, EXCHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
Due to the personal nature of jewelry, returns are not accepted. However, if you’re unsatisfied with your COVEN purchase, we offer exchanges within 7 days of delivery (Canada only).
Exchange Process:
1. Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
2. Return the original item (shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility).
3. Once received, we will issue a credit equal to your original purchase amount for you to select a new item (shipping for the new item is also your responsibility).
Please Note:
• US and International orders are not eligible for exchanges or returns.
• Cancellations are not accepted once a purchase has been made.
REPAIRS
We offer repairs on COVEN pieces for up to 1 year from the purchase date, provided they have been properly cared for. To request a repair - message us via our Contact Us form.
We reserve the right to deny unreasonable repair, return, or exchange requests.
