The Jin Jade Necklace is a modern take on a heavier traditional Jade necklace. It’s a unisex piece but it has been a popular request with our male customers at our in-person markets. We have made 3 of this kind of Jade.
Jade photographs slightly darker (this looks a touch lighter in colour in person) and in sunlight it just glows. Most of the Jade is light green but there are some minimal hints pale green Jade hidden in the beads. There are also small brown flecks where iron has naturally formed in the Jade. This Type A Jade in this necklace is sourced from the Dongcai, China from a second-generation Jade carving family.
- Necklace measures 20.5” (52cm) + 2” (5cm) extension chain.
- The large bead measures 13mm x 8mm.
- Jade is Grade A Burmese Jadeite. Natural, undyed and never chemically altered.
- All metal parts of this necklace is made from surgical grade stainless steel. It is waterproof, does not tarnish and is hypoallergenic for most skin types!
