The Spear Necklace is inspired by the Aboriginal legend that the Northern Lights once fell from the sky and became trapped in rocks along the shorelines of Labrador, Canada (where Labradorite was first discovered). A Great Hunter came upon them and released as many of the Northern Lights as he could by using his spear to break those rocks. But he was unable to release all of them and they became Labradorite.
